The bright tri-color designs (similar to shown, factory fabric color shades may vary) are appropriate for spring, summer, or fall. The shade canopy is set up with simple post and grommet pole-in-web corner attachments. The frame perimeter sleeves are lined for sturdy set-up. A solid fabric privacy panel on the Medium and Large size shelters zips closed as a door (mesh front screen only for Small size cabana, otherwise similar to shown), flops down as a fabric entryway or second floor thickness, or rolls out of the way. Three windows with toggled privacy covers provide airflow on hot days. Sand pouches are provided as an option for anchoring. The shelters each fit into a compact stuff sack with web shoulder strap, so they are easy to pack and transport.

The shelter walls are made of 75D StormShieldŽ polyester taffeta. The 70D nylon taffeta floor is seam taped and sewn-in. Polyester no-see-um mesh provides ventilation. Average set-up time is under 5 minutes, after basic familiarization with the product.

= The 3 ft tall x 3 ft 9 inch wide x 3 ft deep size Small @ $29.95 with 7 millimeter fiberglass frame weighs under 3 lbs, and when properly used helps to protect toddlers and infants from UV rays and other outdoor elements (children should not be left unattended, adult supervision in use required at all times -- these shelters are not medical devices nor substitutes for adequate SPF skin lotions, shade hats or UV blocking clothing, sunglasses, adequate drinking water in heat, and/or similar physician recommended sun exposure preventative measures). The small size has a mesh front zippered panel (not solid, otherwise similar to shown).

- The fabric shelters we sell are for light to moderate duty, not season-long pitching, extreme weather, unattended performance, or permanent installation. - Suggested max packed weight for internal frame backpacks is 30 lbs. If you intend to haul more, an external frame pack with a heavier capacity is advised. Check with local Scout troops for tips on backpack sizes and features.
