Meet the economical, easy to use, and easy to store SherPak car-top cargo bags by Seattle Sports, for your favorite road going needs: Perfect for beach toys, ski boots, camping equipment, team sports gear -- ample extra luggage space and wet stuff storage, for the extra long haul!
+ All have radio frequency welded seams and strap seals -- helps prevent needle hole leaks. + All use double coated, UV resistant vinyl fabric -- strong, durable. + All use heavy duty, bi-directional zippers (units can be locked).
MEASURE TWICE, Order Once: These are all soft-sided so you have some wiggle room (an inch or two) but you don't want to get the awfully wrong size bag -- also see our RETURNS POLICY limits, link below, before purchase. Your first step is to measure your roof dimensions including the space between any rack bars -- front to back and side to side -- so you can then select the proper bag size for your car/van/SUV. [Vehicles and racks vary widely by model, year, options, after-market accessories; we do not maintain a specific fit list.]
IMPORTANT: Fragile items such as photo gear and electronics should not be placed in the SherPaks; valuables including clothes should always be double-bagged, or simply packed inside other luggage before placing in the SherPak, in unlikely event of highway puncture or other unusual conditions. Some condensation may appear during extreme temp or humidity changes, or when damp gear is enclosed. Unit is highly water resistant, but is not submersible. See below for the new SuperMat roof pad option. Watch your back when loading; suggested use is to put the empty SherPak on vehicle roof, then load contents into unit.
Imported. 1 year Seattle Sports factory limited warranty; sold as non-returnable (i.e. no refunds, credits, or exchanges after product purchase -- use manufacturer warranty for any subsequent service). See the Seattle Sports web site, for more SherPak care & use instructions.

- Refunds: Closeouts, inflatables, safety gear, sleeping bags and similar personal products, over-sized shipments, anything in consumer use, PayPal and Google Checkout purchases, some other items and specific categories are non-returnable (i.e., no refund or exchange, use manufacturer limited warranty for any subsequent parts or service); see Returns Policy details before ordering.
- The fabric shelters we sell are for light to moderate duty, not season-long pitching, extreme weather, unattended performance, or permanent installation. Tent & pack fabric sewn seams require user sealing before use, even most models with factory coating. See our Gear 101 page for other common gear care & use tips before purchase.
- Suggested max packed weight for internal frame backpacks is 30 lbs. If you intend to haul more, an external frame pack with a heavier capacity is advised. Check with local Scout troops for tips on backpack sizes and features.
- Max dims and packed sizes are not adjusted for variables in set-up, heat, humidity, air inflation, late factory spec changes, and/or handling, and may not always reflect use-able space. Illustrations not to scale.
